At this juncture, Telangana Congress General Secretary Adnaki Dayakar revealed key facts about the BRS-Congress alliance. Some senior members of Telangana Congress said that nine months ago, the proposal of Congress alliance with BRS was put before AICC. Dayakar made it clear to Adna that AICC had asked for their views on the alliance with BRS and they had said no. He said that it is true that there was a discussion in the party about BRS-Congress alliance and he had full information.
Adnaki Dayakar opined that if the alliance was formed while fighting with the TRS, it would be like surrendering to the party. Dayakar told Adnaki Dayakar that earlier KCR went to Bihar and met Nitish Kumar, after which Nitish Kumar went and asked Rahul Gandhi to join KCR in Congress. But Rahul Gandhi ignored that proposal and took it lightly, he said. He said that BRS is still trying to ally with Congress. Some seniors in Congress are still making proposals about BRS alliance with AICC, doesn’t this come under Covargism? Adnaki Dayakar asked.
KCR had previously promised to merge TRS with Congress if Telangana was given to him, and the comments made by some national leaders of the Congress that BRS should come to an alliance with Congress caused a sensation. TPCC chief Revanth Reddy is denying the rumors of BRS-Congress alliance. Earlier, Rahul Gandhi had decided that there would be no alliance with BRS in the public meeting held in Warangal.
Rahul also warned that if any leader talks about alliance with BRS, he will be suspended from the party. After that, the news of the alliance was checked. Recently, the discussion started again with the report given by Manikyam Tagore. While BRS leaders are saying that they will contest alone, BJP is promoting that BRS-Congress is one. Revanth Reddy says that there is no alliance with BRS. It remains to be seen where the politics of these alliances will lead by the time of elections.
