The Kingdom is increasingly focusing on extracting and researching minerals, especially those that include cobalt, lithium, and tellurium, and making them a tool for developing electric car batteries.
According to the Spanish newspaper “El Dia”, the minerals found in Mount Tropic are considered raw materials for the development of the electric car battery industry in the future.
The aforementioned newspaper confirmed that the Kingdom is still studying ways to acquire the precious minerals of Mount Tropic, especially “Tellurium”, to make it a tool for controlling the electric car market in the world, through developing batteries.
The same source added that a number of problems hinder control of Mount Tropic, as there is a dispute over who will enter its maritime borders with Spain, given that the Canary Islands are located close to the mountain area.
The Spanish newspaper “El Dia” praised the agreements signed between the Kingdom and Asian companies, in order to establish huge factories, specializing in the production of raw materials and minerals related to batteries intended for the manufacture of electric cars.
