Temporary garbage house: Municipal officials engaged in brainstorming, it will take time to finalize the place, a big challenge in front of the officers

The work of building a temporary garbage house has now become a sore throat for the Municipal Corporation. Because due to the opposition of the villagers, now the temporary garbage house will not be built in Pali also. On the other hand, NGT has banned dumping of garbage in Bandhwadi after 31st March. In such a situation, the corporation administration is sweating in search of an alternative place. Officials of the Planning and Engineering Branch are brainstorming to find a place. At present, it is being considered to make assembly wise garbage house.

Let us tell you that in view of the protest of the people of Pali village, Union Minister of State Krishna Pal Gurjar, on Monday, in a meeting with DC Vikram Singh and Corporation Commissioner Jitendra Dahiya, had suggested considering other places instead of building a garbage house in Pali. After this, in the evening itself, the corporation commissioner held a meeting with the people of Pali village and discussed the issue. The villagers told that the commissioner was talking to them about finding a place, which the villagers rejected and said that they would not allow the construction of a garbage house in Pali. It is the corporation’s job to find a place.

Corporation officials engaged in brainstorming

On Tuesday, the officials of the Planning and Engineering Branch held a meeting with the Corporation Commissioner and brainstormed to find the assembly wise place. As of now, no place has been finalized yet. Officials said that the feasibility study is being done now. Because it is not possible to make temporary garbage houses at five different places. On the other hand, NGT has banned dumping of garbage in Bandhwadi after 31st March. In such a situation, if the corporation throws garbage, then it is certain that it will be fined. Only three days are left. Officials are sweating because the final could not be held at an alternative place.
