A Texas Roadhouse waitress set her TikTok account on fire when she revealed how much money he earns in a week working less than 40 hours: more than $800 dollars.
In a video with more than 487,000 views, TikTok user Zoe showed users what a week in her working life looks like. At the end of it, worked 36 hours and took more than $800 dollarsresulting in a median hourly wage of about $22.49.
“Not a bad week!” said the waitress at the end of her video. In a comment, the girl clarified that the amount was just what she earned in tips.
In the comments section, many users were impressed with Zoe’s earnings.
One of them commented: “$809 dollars for 36 hours is crazy. I need to go into service as soon as possible.”
Zoe’s take-home pay is more than most servers make. According to the Daily Dot, an average server makes around $100 a day; At over $800 for six days of work, Zoe’s earnings are above this average.
Of course, there were also other users who told Zoe that she could earn more in another workplace, and several users suggested that she look for a job at local seafood restaurants.
“Girl, I’m telling you, if you have a seafood place near you, go there. I work at a Red Lobster and make over $1,000 just on the weekend,” said another TikTok user.
“Oh my gosh, I thought you all made so much more than other places. I make about $1,200 to $1,400 a week in a small town.”
“You should definitely be a bartender! I worked 30 hours and walked away with $1,350 last week,” a third user claimed.
