It has been announced that compensation of Rs. 10 thousand per acre will be provided to the farmers who have lost crops in the state. He said that the government will support the farmers not to lose heart. Many good schemes for farmers are being implemented in the state like nowhere else in the country. He said that even though the Center had sent reports in the past when the crops were damaged, they had not given a single rupee. He said that there is nothing to ask from the Centre.. The state government will support it.
On the other hand, there was a discussion on the loss of rice in the AP Assembly as well. The MLAs asked farmers to help them because of the recent hailstorms. They want to support even if the rules are changed if necessary. He requested to immediately register the crop loss and provide compensation. Also, some MLAs said that farmers do not care if they suffer from fake seeds. It was explained that farmers who cultivated cotton and maize suffered losses due to adulterated seeds.
