They knew they couldn’t succeed in that, but they wanted to kill as many people as possible, because they thought they would enter Sarajevo and be the masters of the city, but the will of the people and the patriots of this country and this city did not allow that to happen. They left a bequest to this nation to enjoy freedom and to defend what was acquired with blood.” , said Hodžić and that it is an obligation not to forget what happened.
He said that everyone should be proud of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina today and that it is a country for all citizens.
“We never hate anyone, we wish no harm to anyone. We want peace and dignity for every human being, to live in peace and freedom and to live from our work, to be proud of our country, because this country is for everyone,” said Hodžić .
