Actually, the police had arrested the rape accused on the basis of the video. After this, the police arrested Mohammad Salim, who made the video, from his house in Prakash Nagar, Nagda. Apart from this, the police is also searching for those who made the video viral.
Police said that Salim got down from the bus coming from Nagda on Wednesday at Koyla Phatak crossroad. Then he reached the petrol pump. During this time he made a video of the rape of the woman. As soon as the matter came to light, the accused started changing his location. On Friday, he changed his location several times. He reached Nagda again via Mandsaur, Ratlam of Ujjain. After getting information, he was arrested from Nagda.
Police said that accused Salim also shared the video of the incident on several WhatsApp groups. Action will also be taken against those who made the video viral under the IT Act. Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and PCC chief Jeetu Patwari had strongly condemned the incident in Ujjain. Congress had called the rape incident horrific and talked about improving law and order.
