The “Amateur” League starts on the 15th of this month in the absence of the “Dark Horse”

The new season of the first division “amateur” league will start on September 15, with the participation of 15 teams, amid expectations that it will appear in a distinguished technical form, after the Football Association’s decision to allocate generous financial rewards to the winning teams, according to the final ranking, in addition to zeroing out all financial debts related to their liabilities from previous seasons, which gives the teams competing to qualify for the professional league or avoid relegation, a high moral incentive, to provide a distinguished technical performance, to end the season in the best possible position, especially the company teams, as they depend on themselves for expenses.

The new season is distinguished by the quality of preparations made by the clubs, as they held training camps in Egypt, Turkey, Serbia and Slovenia, while other teams held their camps inside the country. The new football season will witness the absence of Masafi Club from the competition, after it apologized for not participating for reasons related to financial support, which means that the team that has been called the “dark horse” in the past eight seasons, will be missed by the fans, in addition to the Al-Taawoun team, which has had positive and influential results in the past two seasons.

In turn, the international coach and lecturer at the Football Association, Omar Al Hammadi, confirmed that the first division fans are in for an exciting season in many technical and popular aspects, especially with the presence of five clubs that have previously played in the Professional League, who will compete for the two promotion cards, namely: Emirates Clubs, Dibba Al Fujairah, Al Dhafra, Hatta, and Fujairah, all of which have prepared effectively and attracted distinguished players, which indicates the high technical levels that the season will witness. Al Hammadi told “Emarat Al Youm”, “Masafi’s absence from the tournament is influential, and the title of (the dark horse) was obtained thanks to its results that mostly affected qualification for the Professional League, and its stadium in the middle of the mountains is considered a beautiful geographical stadium, and stubborn against visiting teams,” explaining that the companies’ teams can monopolize the title of “the dark horse”, after their number increased from 4 last season to 5 in the new season, namely: United, Gulf United, Gulf FC, Al Dhahra, and Fleetwood United. He continued: “We hope that the upcoming matches will have sustainable television broadcasting, so that The audience misses out on the opportunity to watch beautiful and expected matches.
