Prominent actor and former YCP leader Posani Krishnamurali has been arrested. Posani is taken into custody at the residence of Rayachoti police in Hyderabad. Police have filed a case under Section 196, 353 (2) and 111 Redwith 3 (5) on Posani.
When the YCP was in power, Chandrababu, Nara Lokesh and Pawan Kalyan had made inappropriate comments and the case was registered four months ago after the TDP activists complained to the police. The YCP has resigned from politics just days after the alliance came to power.
Posani gave Clarity the news that he had been dismissed from politics to fear the cases. Everyone thought, “Posani is going to be buried from cases of politics.” But today is the arrest. When the YCP was in power, Posani bought it in the nomination.
Hundreds of YCP activists and leaders have been arrested since the alliance came to power, but it was the first arrest of the film industry. Director RGV is now turning around police stations. Posani was arrested, even though RGV was expected to be arrested.
