The revival of the music scene is going from strength to strength. Once again, the singers and national groups have once again promoted themselves on television and in all possible media. Meanwhile, there are some artists who prefer not to appear on the small screen and in entertainment programs. That is the case of the singer from Ayacucho
Dilio Galindo Morenothe leader of the Andean group Antología.
What happened? More than five years ago, the interpreter of “Aléjate” promised not to return to a show program. This, after living a bad moment in
“Tell me everything”an ATV space that, at that time, was hosted by Sofía Franco, Katy Sheen, Kurt Villavicencio ‘Metiche’ and Santi Lesmes.
In May 2017, Dilio Galindo Moreno and his musicians came to the ATV set to promote the two concerts they were going to offer at the Gran Teatro Nacional for his 18 years of artistic career; however, they did not imagine the rudeness they were going to experience.
Through his Facebook account, the Peruvian singer said that they were summoned early on ATV, but they were made to wait more than an hour for them to go on the air. But that wasn’t what bothered him the most.
they cut him off abruptly when he was performing his song “Lies”.

“Outrageous! Today we were on the channel 9 program ‘Cuéntamelo todo’ and the truth is shit… that program is rubbish. They made us wait more than an hour to get a few seconds out of us,” wrote the director of the Andean music group.
In his defense, which also generated the annoyance of his fans, the creator of themes, such as “How to forget your look”, “Happy Heart”, “For Tati”, “Today I will go” and “For the love that I gave you ”, criticized that more time is given to unimportant issues.
“Sure, but before that they spent more than half an hour talking about the intimate and personal life of I don’t know which pseudo-artists. (…) This reflects the crude reality of garbage TV that has become fashionable, copying the filth of other countries”, she criticized.
Not everything was there. Dilio Galindo, a native of Puquio, a place full of springs in Ayacucho, assured that he was not going to return to that type of space and so far he has complied. “That is why and in fact we will not return to those types of programs,” promised Dilio Galindo, who had his birthday last August 5.

His followers did not hesitate to express their support. “You, the true Peruvian artists who leave messages in your songs and who interpret our music so beautiful, deserve respect and those inept people who have stupid brains”, “Never again beat around the dumps, you are artists and yours it’s beating on stage; the dumps for the abandoned and waste” and “Congratulations for denouncing that TV, pure garbage, I hope people react and stop watching so much crap”; were some of the messages that appeared on Facebook.

victim of racism
Two years after the bad moment he experienced on ATV, Dilio Galindo appeared on the program “La Interview”, where he revealed that, as a child, he began to make music with his first group called Sol y Sombra. Later, he narrated that he went to study in Ica.
In a conversation with Carla Harada, the man from Puqui told how he was a victim of racism. At his school, many tried to make him feel bad for being Andean. “You find the first impact of a silly and mistaken racism, based on mistaken complexes that marked children a lot. They discriminated against me because he was from the mountains. I didn’t see any sense in it because I’m proud of the Sierra,” he said.
