Polish players are doing great this summer, they came to Arlington as the biggest revelation of the tournament. Their victorious march, however, stopped for a while in the semi-finals. On the night from Saturday to Sunday Polish time Chinese were definitely better. The Polish women tried to compete, but this time they failed to win a single set.
Even though in the quarterfinals with Germany Joanna Pacak, who was introduced from the reserve, fared excellently, Lavarini bet on his regular six. Polish and Chinese women met in the main phase of the League of Nations. “Biało-Czerwone” played great then and won 3:0 – Stysiak scored 20 points. In the quarter-finals, however, the Asian team did a great job, impressively beating Brazil 3-1.
In the match against Poland, she presented a similar form. For the second set, Lavarini sent a six with one substitution: for Różański, she appeared on the pitch Martyna Czyrniańska. “White-Red” began to conquer more balls in defense.
Only that the Chinese knew where to position themselves during Stysiak’s attacks. Thanks to this, they were able to score points after counter-attacks. It seemed that the Chinese survived a difficult moment, because they jumped back by three points. Service Martyna Łukasik led to a draw 23:23, but then two actions and the entire set were won by the rivals.

The Chinese have already won two Nations League medals. In the last few years, they also won medals at the World Cup or the Olympic Games, and it was clear that the rank of the match did not surpass them. For Polish women, playing in this phase of the tournament is something new.
