Biban 23 Forum concluded its first day in Saudi Arabia, which witnessed a series of sessions and workshops that discussed a number of topics in the entrepreneurship, investment, small and medium enterprises sector, and promising entrepreneurial opportunities in various sectors.
The first day witnessed the signing of more than 25 agreements and memorandums of understanding, and the launch of financing initiatives worth more than 10 billion riyals.
As part of the activities of the “Biban” forum, the Arab National Bank launched financing products worth 1.1 billion riyals.
An agreement worth 1 billion riyals was signed between Monshaat and Bank Albilad to provide financing products for small and medium enterprises, and another agreement was signed between Monshaat and Al Jabr Finance Company to launch financing products worth 500 million riyals.
Monshaat also signed an agreement with Alinma Bank to launch financing products worth 500 million riyals, and Monshaat and the National Bank of Saudi Arabia signed an agreement to launch financing products worth 1 billion riyals.
The forum witnessed the signing of a commercial franchise cooperation agreement between Monshaat and Al-Amthal Finance Company to provide financing programs worth 100 million riyals, and the signing of an agreement between Banque Saudi Fransi and the Saudi Export-Import Bank at a value of 1 billion riyals.
Monshaat renewed a cooperation agreement with Al Rajhi Bank to launch financing products worth 2.1 billion riyals, and another with Al Jabr Finance Company to launch financing products worth 100 million riyals.
“Bab Al Intilaaqah” dealt with a series of specialized workshops, including topics of building ideas and preparing a model for the project, a workshop entitled “From Idea to Market”, a workshop on “Feasibility Study”, and another on “Steps for establishing a business”.
The “Door to Franchising” workshops reviewed the sustainable franchising system, “ways to develop the ecosystem of the franchise industry”, “the importance of manufacturing creative products that expand the geographical scope of the brand”, and “the experience of obtaining a commercial franchise”.
The workshops that took place in the “e-commerce door” focused on the knowledge that enables the start-up, development and management of e-commerce platforms, as they defined the methods of using these platforms and online presence strategies. To ensure effective use of e-marketing tools, it also discussed “e-commerce challenges”, “investment opportunities in the transport sector”, and “motivating companies to benefit from the Future Skills Program”.
The workshops that took place in the “Gate of Growth” shed light on “managing retail markets and their most prominent characteristics”, in addition to workshops on “strategic planning”, “investment strategies in emerging projects”, “supply chain management”, and “commercial contracts”. And “Enterprise Growth”, “Marketing for Enterprise Business”, “How to Start Your Business in Saudi Arabia”, “Financial Management for Small Enterprises”, “Basics of Commercial Contracts”, “Fundamentals of Human Resources Management”, and “Franchise Opportunities”. commercial”.
Two workshops were held in the “Investors Square” on how to present to investors, the importance of attracting investors for the growth of your enterprise, the types of investment and its different stages and its impact on the growth of the enterprise’s business, with mergers and acquisitions and the combination of commercial entities and investments.
The workshop held at the “Bab of Innovation” was titled “Launch the Cyberthon Hackathon”, along with two other workshops on “Launch Innovation Services” and “Maidan Competition”.
