The Cabinet wants to take a big bite out of nitrogen emissions every year

The government has committed itself to taking a significant chunk out of nitrogen deposition every year in the coming years. According to the best-efforts obligation, the precipitation of nitrogen – now somewhere above 1500 moles per hectare per year – must be reduced by 100 moles every year.
