New Delhi: President Drarubathi Murmu has said that the central government has earned the name of a government that takes decisive decisions.
The budget session of Parliament started today. In view of this, President Drabupati Murmu delivered a speech in the joint session of the Parliament as per tradition. He said: We are now in a golden age after the country has completed 75 years of independence. The next 25 years will be the time to transform India into a developed country. I request all the people of the country to realize their duties and act to make the country a developed country by 2047. Our actions must connect the pride of our past with the present.
The India we want to build must be self-reliant and able to fulfill the aspirations of the people. In such an India there will be no poverty. The middle class will have it all. Emphasis should be placed on youth power and women power to take the country forward. India’s diversity is vibrant. The unity of our country cannot be shaken by anyone.
Lord Basaveshwara said that work is God. That is, God is present in the work we do. In the way he showed, my government is fully committed to its duty. I thank the people of the country for electing a stable government for the last 10 years. My government is working with the welfare of the country as the main priority. Accordingly, policies and strategies have been completely changed.
From precision strikes to serious counter-terrorism measures, from the Line of Control to the de facto de facto border, from abrogation of Article 370 to abolition of triple talaq, my government is recognized as capable of taking decisive decisions. My government is stable, fearless, decisive, and able to work towards realizing the biggest dreams. Honesty is valued in India today. It works with the aim of upliftment of the poor.
