The national cycling team concludes its indoor camp held in Fujairah today. The camp was organized by the Cycling Federation and began on the 22nd of this month, in preparation for participation in the Asian Championship that will be held in Kazakhstan from the 4th to the 12th of next June.
The national team’s roster includes young players Khaled Al Nuaimi, Hareb Al Marzouqi, and Hamad Al Muhairbi, while the women’s team includes Safia Al Sayegh, Marwa Salman, and Zahra Hussein.
They will be joined later by the men’s team players: Abdullah Al-Hammadi, Abdullah Jassim and Mohammed Al-Mutaiwi, who are currently in an external camp in Italy, accompanied by Yousef Mirza, manager of the Emirates Professional Team, and the quartet will join the delegation participating in the Asian Championship, in addition to Sanaa Al-Mirdassi, the coach of the girls’ team.
For his part, President of the Emirates Cycling Federation, Mansour Bu Oseiba, confirmed that the team’s technical staff decided to hold an internal camp in Fujairah, well before participating in the Asian Championship, so that all players would be fully prepared, especially since the tournament comes following the end of the local season, and thus it was It is better for the camp to be indoor.
