Ubisoft has released a free demo of the new Prince of Persia.
The Lost Crown is a 2.5D metroidvania developed by Ubisoft Montpellier, the studio behind acclaimed platformers like Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends.
The demo is available on all platforms, although you should note that the PC version will not be available on Steam. At the moment it will only be launched in the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Connect, although in recent months the French company has begun to bring games from its catalog to Steam such as Far Cry 6 or Rainbow Six Extraction with a certain period of delay.
Here you can read our analysis of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown: “it returns in style after almost fifteen years of absence. It does so with a brave bet that respects the essence of the license, but is also capable of standing out for its freshness that comes from drinking the challenging rhythm of modern metroidvania.”
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will be released on January 18 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
