Desk. Today, 12th October, on the day of Dussehra, the date of closure of the doors of Badrinath Dham has been declared. The doors of the Legislative Assembly will close at 9:07 pm on 17th November. This Yatra year, the doors of the world famous Shri Badrinath Dham will be closed for the winter season on Sunday, November 17 at 9.07 pm.
Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) President Ajendra Ajay said that the date of closure of the doors was decided ceremoniously after Panchang calculation in Shri Badrinath Dham temple complex on the occasion of Vijayadashami today. He said that under the guidance of the illustrious Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the able leadership of the state Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, a large number of pilgrims came to visit the Chardham Yatra. All passenger facilities have been provided due to the efforts of the government and the temple committee.
So far, more than 11 lakh pilgrims have reached Shri Badrinath Dham. More than 13.5 lakh pilgrims have reached Shri Kedarnath Dham. In this way, 24.5 lakh pilgrims have visited Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath. A total of 38 lakh pilgrims have reached Chardham Yatra.
On the occasion of the ninth day of Navratri, Kanya Puja and worship of Maa Siddhidatri form was done in the area’s revered goddess Maa Navdurga Tila Bharari temple on Badrinath Dham road Kanchanganga. Shri Badrinath (Badrinath Dham) – Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) Vice President Kishore Panwar along with his family reached the temple of Mata and participated in the worship and sought blessings for the happiness and peace of the area.
