Tala’a El-Jaish Club announced, on Wednesday, the appointment of Tarek El-Ashry as technical director, to replace interim coach Ahmed Abdel Aziz, who took over the task after the departure of Abdel Hamid Bassiouni due to poor results.
Al-Ashry, the former technical director of the Border Guard, had assumed responsibility for the technical management of the army early last season and was dismissed from his position after five rounds due to the decline in results.
Tala’a El-Gaish occupies 16th place in the Egyptian Football League standings, with 5 points, from one victory, two draws, and four defeats since the beginning of the season so far.
On the other hand, the Board of Directors of the Arab Contractors decided to accept the apology of technical director Imad Al-Nahhas for completing his mission with the team, while thanking him and his assistant staff, after 38 months spent with the team since taking charge in October 2018.
The Arab Contractors occupies the fifteenth place with 6 points, facing the specter of relegation.
Contractors officials, according to press reports, are choosing between three coaches: Mokhtar Mokhtar, the former military production coach, Talaat Youssef, the former Ismaili coach, and Khaled Eid, the former Ghazl El Mahalla coach.
