The tour begins and ends in Abu Dhabi, through seven stages with a total of 1028 km. The race track consists of four fast stages, two mountain stages, in addition to a stage against the clock, which extends for a distance of 17.2 km.
The only global race in the Middle East will start in the Al Dhafra region, through the first stage, which extends for a distance of 151 km from Al Dhafra Castle to the city of Al Marfa, followed by the second stage (against the clock), which will be held in Abu Dhabi at Khalifa Port, and then the third stage, which will be held the day after tomorrow. Starting from the umbrella beach in Fujairah and reaching the top of Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah for a distance of 185 km. On Thursday, the competitors will start from Al Shindagha, passing through the most prominent landmarks of Dubai and reaching the Harbor for a distance of 174 km. The fifth stage will be held on Friday for a distance of 182 km, starting from Al Marjan Island and reaching to Umm Al Quwain, followed by the penultimate stage that takes place on Saturday, starting from Warner Bros. World to the breakwater, where the stage permeates the most prominent landmarks of the capital, Abu Dhabi, for a distance of 166 km, and the Emirates Tour reaches its last stage, and it will be held in Al Ain next Sunday for a distance of 153 km, starting from Hazaa Stadium. bin Zayed, reaching the top of Jebel Hafeet.
Yesterday, the presentation press conference was held for the elite of the riders participating in the circumnavigation, in the Colnago store on Al Hudayriat Island in Abu Dhabi, where the British Mark Cavendish crossed from (Astana Kazakhstan Team), who is the title holder and who has a brilliant history of participation in the UAE, where he achieved seven titles during his visits. The previous five years, he was pleased to return to participate in the Emirates Tour again. Adam Yates of (Emirates Team) is also one of the favorites, who is participating for the first time for the Emirates Team, and won this race in 2020, including winning the Jebel Hafeet stage, as well as coming second in the previous two editions.
This year’s tour includes the participation of international star Dylan Gronnwegen (from the Jaico Al-Ula team), who is one of the best riders, as he won two stages during his three previous visits to the UAE.
