Video clips have spread on social media showing Brazilian football legend Adriano (42 years old), known as the “Emperor”, while he is barefoot and drunk, shouting insults in the street.
Adriano, the Brazilian Flamengo star and legend of the Italian club Inter Milan, retired in 2016, after participating with his country’s national team in 48 matches, in addition to winning 14 major titles in his career, including four Italian League titles with the “Inter” club logo.
Previous press reports indicated that Adriano suffered from depression after his father’s passing, and his addiction to alcohol, which is what the “Emperor” spoke about in a television interview in 2018, in which he confirmed that his club, Inter, hid the truth about his addiction from the media, while in reality he was attending training while drunk. .
Adriano added in his interview that: “My father’s departure left a big void and I felt very lonely. Everything became worse after his departure because I isolated myself and remained addicted until I left Inter.”
