To be in demand in any professional field, even for 50 years, you need to constantly learn and quickly retrain, says Alexei Zakharov, President of SuperJob.
He added that the time when it was possible to graduate from a higher educational institution and work with this knowledge until retirement ended with the advent of the Internet.
“Now the amount of knowledge and professional information is huge, in theory, you should learn something new every day and try to be the best in your profession,” Zakharov said in an interview with RT.
A specialist who is constantly learning is protected from any crisis, he stressed.
“If you thought you could do something professionally, but didn’t develop and yesterday were the same as the day before yesterday, in fact you don’t know anything,” the expert explained.
According to Zakharov, you need to think all the time about how to become better than yourself yesterday. At the same time, in his opinion, there are no “unpromising directions” of education.
In addition, as Zakharov explained, the characteristics of the country in which you work play an important role.
“Russia is a huge country, and we need specialists in almost all areas. The best job is the one you like and the area where you are interested, ”added the interlocutor of RT.
According to the president of SuperJob, Russia is characterized by long distances, which is why transport and logistics are considered promising areas in the country.
