On May 3, Oleg Sulimenko, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the University 2035, in an interview with Gazeta.Ru, told how to properly tune in to a working mood after the holidays.
“First, find motivation. Think about the fact that when you meet, you will tell your colleagues what news you will share. Maybe during your vacation you got an interesting idea to develop your project? Prepare in advance the clothes in which you will go to the office, the documents that you will need, set an alarm clock and go to bed early to sleep,” the expert advised.
Sulimenko also recommended to pay attention to the preparation of the workplace: sort out documents, tidy up the desk drawers, and clean the files on the computer.
At the same time, the specialist warned against the desire to solve a large number of tasks on the first working day, as well as plan new ones. First of all, you should finish those things that remained unfinished before the holidays, and then gradually start new ones.
“Otherwise, after the first working day, you may want to go on vacation,” Sulimenko said.
On May 1, Izvestia studied the results of an Ozon Travel survey and found out that every second Russian planned to go on vacation during the May holidays. Thus, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Kaliningrad and Mineralnye Vody became the most popular cities for domestic tourism. A quarter of the respondents are planning to spend the holidays in the country. At the same time, last year there were fewer travelers among Russians in May – then only 18% of respondents planned to go on vacation.
