Lada Sport has released a prototype station wagon Lada Vesta NG SW Sport. This was announced on February 8 by the Avtograd News group on the VKontakte social network.
Photos of the Lada Vesta SW Sport station wagon have been published on the Web, the car was assembled by a subsidiary of AvtoVAZ, the Lada Sport company.
Judging by the pictures, visually the sports station wagon will differ from the usual two separate false pipes of the exhaust system (the real exhaust will remain under the bumper) and a powerful engine with an identification sticker from Lada Sport.
According to Avtograd News, the car is equipped with a 1.8-liter naturally aspirated engine with a capacity of 145 hp, which was previously installed on serial Vesta Sport sedans. Such versions were equipped with an upgraded manual transmission, which allowed the car to pick up speed from 0 to 100 km / h in 9.5-9.7 s.
Experts believe that the equipment of the sports station wagon is likely to be the most complete. In the photos of the car, LED head optics are noticeable, a digital dashboard, a multifunctional steering wheel with perforated trim, an engine start button and a vertical multimedia tablet are visible in the cabin.
On February 8, it became known that AvtoVAZ intends to equip Lada Granta and Vesta cars with bumpers manufactured by the DPO-Plastic enterprise from the Nizhny Novgorod region. The DPO-Plastic plant, which is located in Dzerzhinsk, received equipment for the production of bumpers, which will be installed on Lada Granta and Lada Vesta cars. Specialists noted that the company from the Nizhny Novgorod region already produces plastic products for KamAZ and other large Russian companies.
