Competitions for the first round of the UAE Water Ski Championship begin at the breakwater in Abu Dhabi, tomorrow, and will continue for three days.
The championship includes multiple categories for water skiing, including: the junior category, the beginner category for men, the freeride category for men, the beginner category for girls, the open surfing category for men, the open category for women, the freeride category for women, the intermediate for men, the amateur for women, the amateur for men, and the amateur skim for women. , Amateur Skim for Men, Open Skim for Men, and Open Skim for Women.
The competitions will be held in several stages, including qualifiers and various challenges organized according to the tournament schedule.
The tournament comes within the agenda of the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club’s marine season, which is witnessing, for the seventh consecutive season, the organization of water skiing tournaments, and aims to enhance the spread of this sport and enrich marine activities.
More than 90 competitors from multiple countries registered to participate in the tournament, reflecting the global interest in this sport.
