The delegation of the UAE national futsal team arrived in Kuwait yesterday, to participate in the third Gulf Games for the Gulf Cooperation Council, which will be held from the 12th to the 23rd of this month, with the participation of 5 teams (the UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Bahrain).
The white team’s mission included 14 players: Rashid Obaid Mohammed, Abdullah Rashid Al Falasi, Khaled Mohammed Al Muhairi, Saeed Jassim Jankel, Hassan Ali Al Hantobi, Abdullah Mohammed Al Hosani, Omar Ali Al Naqbi, Khaled Abdullah Al Shuka, Abdullah Juma Al Muhairi, Hamad Hassan Al Balushi, Abdullah Abdul Majeed Al Balushi, Taher Hassan Tarish, Hamad Ali Al Zaabi, Ahmed Hussein bin Hammad.
The team will start its participation tomorrow by facing Kuwait, then it will meet Oman on the 16th, the Saudi team on the 18th, and the Bahrain team on the 22nd of the same month. All matches of the tournament will be held at Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah Stadium in Hawalli Governorate. It is worth noting that the matches of the tournament will be played in the combined league system, and the team with the most points will be crowned with the championship title.
