The Dubai Sports Council is organizing the Open Padel Cup for Government Institutions, in cooperation with the Just Padel Club, at its courts in Mina Rashid, from December 13 to 15, to discover and develop talented employees of government departments.

Fawzia Faridoon said that the Padel Cup, which is open to government institutions, constitutes a new and distinctive addition to the list of annual sporting events held in Dubai throughout the year.
She added: “The Dubai Sports Council is pleased to support the tournament because it contributes to enhancing diversity in sporting events, which the Council is keen to achieve in order to provide an opportunity for sports fans of all nationalities living in Dubai.”
She stressed that “this tournament represents an ideal model of cooperation between the public and private sectors, and consolidates the position of padel in Dubai after its wide and rapid spread, and it has become very popular, as the number of stadiums designated for this sport has increased everywhere in Dubai.”

For his part, Anwar Idrissi said that, starting today, registration for the tournament will be open to all government institutions from all the emirates of the country, and registration will continue until the number of participating institutions reaches 32 institutions, and it will be determined according to the priority of registration.
He added: “Each institution will be allowed to include eight male national players, and professional players registered in clubs or the UAE Padel Federation will not be allowed to participate, as the competitions will be held in a league system of one round, and a knockout, and the first place winner will receive 30 thousand dirhams, and the second place will receive 20 thousand dirhams.” “Dirham.”
