The details of his speech are as follows: There has been a stable government at the center for the last 9 years. The people of the country have seen that various creative changes have taken place in the country in these 9 years. My government is working with dedication for the development of the country.
India now has a government that can function at an unprecedented speed and scale. I express my gratitude to the people of the country for electing a stable government for two consecutive terms. Digital technology has seen tremendous growth in the country. The economic benefits of the 300 schemes of the central government are being paid directly into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. 27 lakh crore rupees have been disbursed directly so far. This is a very important measure to ensure transparency.
The central government has built more than 3.5 crore houses in the country and provided them to the poor beneficiaries. 3.5 lakh crore rupees my government has given free food items to the poor people. 2.25 lakh crore rupees has been provided to 11 crore poor farmers. My government has taken steps to remove all barriers to women’s education and employment. Enrollment of women in military training schools has also increased. Maternity leave for women has been increased from 12 weeks to 26 weeks.
On the one hand, a huge Ram temple is being built in Ayodhya. On the other side, a modern parliament building is being constructed. More than 100 Vande Bharatam trains are running. What was once a royal path has now become a duty path. The statue of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, installed on the road of duty, makes every Indian proud. A memorial house is being built for Netaji in Andaman and Nicobar. 21 islands in Andaman and Nicobar are named after 21 soldiers who have received the Param Veer Chakra.
Efforts are currently being made to manufacture semiconductors and aircraft. Military exports have increased 6 times due to the continuous efforts of the central government. For the first time, Vikrant, an indigenously produced fighter jet, has been inducted into our army. Our athletes have made a mark in the Commonwealth Games, Olympics and Paralympics.
The growth the country is currently experiencing is unprecedented and incomparable. At present 11 lakh houses are being built every day under the scheme of building houses for poor people across the country. More than 55 thousand gas connections are provided daily. In just 2 years, 220 crore corona vaccines have been given in the country.
National highways have increased by 55 percent in the last 8 years. The number of airports in the country was 74 in 2014. This has increased to 147 at present. Solar power generation in the country has increased 20 times in the last 8 years. India currently holds the presidency of the G20. One Earth; same family; India is making efforts to solve international problems based on the taraka mantra of one future.
Our relations with the nations of the world have improved like never before. Tourism in the country has improved. India has been raising its voice in all international organizations against terrorism.
