The situation with the spread of coronavirus in Russia is manageable. This was announced on September 14 by the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“If we talk about coronavirus infection, then the epidemiological situation is manageable, we are moving away from another wave that occurred at the beginning of August. As we expected, the period from the beginning of the rise to the peak was no more than five to six weeks, the course is quite mild, this is a different version of the virus, ”she said.
According to Popova, the current version of the coronavirus almost does not cause primary pneumonia and does not lead to loss of smell. It also does not lead to the appearance of a large number of severe patients.
