New Delhi: The Indian Army has now issued a tender to buy jetpacks for use by soldiers. These sophisticated jetpacks can take to the skies to carry out surveillance and attack.

Next, the army plans to buy 130 animal-like robots with 4 legs. This robot will be able to travel at an altitude of 10,000 feet. Be it mountain, forest, water body, any area will be rushed and engaged in surveillance. Also, if there is an obstacle on the way, it will automatically detect it and take a different route and engage in monitoring. Army also plans to buy 100 such animal robots.
Apart from this, the Army is going to procure 130 drones with ground mounted equipment. Instead of individual drones, several drones can be grouped together to conduct surveillance. Even if multiple drones are flying at the same time, all are connected to each other. Together they send information to a control center on the ground.
Such drones fly from the ground with the help of a cable and carry out surveillance. The information collected in the air will be sent to the military on the ground. This allows for quick information gathering and surprise attacks in times of emergency. These types of drones can be swarmed in the invisible Chinese border areas and inaccessible mountain areas to monitor and transmit information. These types of drones are capable of flying for long periods of time.
Hence, the Army has issued tenders for procurement of jetpacks, animal robots, drones. Officials said that this will strengthen the army like never before.
