Mumbai: A new cricket series called Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) will be launched in India in the style of IPL. It is a 10 over tennis ball cricket series. This ISPL T10 series will be held from March 2nd to March 9th next year. A total of 19 matches will be played in this series. All the matches of the series will be played at cricket grounds. 6 teams from Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata and nagar will participate in this series.
Only 16 players are allowed in a team participating in the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL). A team can have 6 assistants. Each team will be given a bid of one crore rupees. It has been reported that the auction for the players will be held on February 24 next year. The minimum bid per player is fixed at Rs 3 lakh.
Former Indian coach Ravi Shastri has been appointed as the team captain of the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL). According to the Indian Street Premier League, this new initiative has been taken for tens of thousands of youngsters who dream of playing like international cricketers.
