‘The Kerala Story’ is a film directed by Sudipto Sen and starring Adah Sharma in the lead role. The movie is slated to hit the screens on May 5. The recently released trailer has sparked controversy. According to the plan, Muslim organizations have trapped 32000 Hindu and Christian young women, forcibly recruited them into ISIS and used them for their activities. Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan responded to this. He said that organizations like Sangh Parivar are engaged in such hate propaganda to get political benefits. In this context, the Supreme Court recently responded to the petition filed to stop the release of the film.
The titles mention that the film is based on true events. Also the makers revealed that the film will uncover a dangerous conspiracy against India. Against this backdrop, objections arose from Kerala. A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court that this is a hate speech and audio-visual propaganda. That is why the said petitioner has requested in his petition to stay the release of this movie. But since the film has already cleared the censor formalities, the petitioner should first challenge its certification, the Supreme Court said.

The Supreme Court asked the petitioner to approach the High Court next. But the petitioner said he approached the Supreme Court of India because the film was releasing on Friday. But the court stated that this is not the right way.. The court is of the opinion that because of this everyone will start coming to them. It is interesting to see what the petitioner will do in this context.
