The auction is organized by Matchwornshirt, an international company that specializes in displaying the most prominent sports shirts that chronicle prominent international sporting events and matches, in cooperation with the Association. It has previously been organized on player shirts in prominent matches in the ADNOC Professional League, the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup, and the UAE Super Cup.
