Jarosław Hampel was supposed to get a free hand from the president of Platinum Motor Jakub Kępa. This would mean that the activist is not only sure of the remaining seniors, but also has the means to maintain a very expensive composition.
Pay raises for leaders could be an opportunity for Hampel
Earlier, we wrote that Hampel may stay in Motor for the next season, if the activists add up the expenses for the team and they come out that the squad is too expensive. However, it seems that in Motor they do not have to save money by keeping one of the cheaper players.
The money was certainly well counted in the motorbike. Because if Hampel got permission to leave, it means that the club has the funds for possible increases for seniors and junior Mateusz Cierniak. They are also probably ready for a considerable expense related to the possible employment of junior Wiktor Przyjemski.
Hampel won’t be out of work for long
Hampel, after all, will definitely not lose on Motor’s decision. Enea Falubaz Zielona Góra had already probed him, and this is not the end of the options for an experienced Polish representative. He’s averaging 7 points per game this season, so he’s a pretty tempting option for those looking for a solid midfielder.
We know that ZOOleszcz GKM Grudziądz is preparing for talks with Hampel. There they are determined to keep Vadim Tarasienko, Max Fricke and Kacper Pludry, but two places are still vacant. One of them, if nothing changes, will be taken by Jason Doyle. The club is on his word. Hampel has a second chance. An alternative to him is Gleb Chugunov.
Hampel is one of the biggest speedway stars of the 21st century. In the 2010 season he fought with Tomasz Gollob for gold in the Grand Prix. He ended up with silver. He has two runner-up titles and one bronze to his credit. His collection also includes six gold medals won with the national team in the Team World Cup.
