Dubai: Vaccination is beginning to show signs of improvement in the UAE. It is estimated that the significant decrease in the number of daily covid cases reported in the country in recent years is due to vaccination.
A total of 1452 Kovid positive cases were reported across the country on Friday. This is the lowest number of positive cases per day since last December. On December 28, 1027 cases were reported, the lowest ever.

With the confirmation of 1452 new cases of Kovid yesterday, the number of Kovid victims in the UAE so far has risen to 543,610. Yesterday, 1422 people were discharged from the hospital. This brings the total number of Kovid Muktas in the country to 523,778. There are currently 18,206 active cases in the UAE. A total of 1,626 people have died of Kovid infection in the country, including three who died the previous day. Last day alone, 186,370 Kovid tests were conducted in the country.
Meanwhile, the UAE Ministry of Health said that 114 lakh people in the country have already been vaccinated against Kovid. Last day alone, 23,115 people were vaccinated.
The plan is to vaccinate all eligible people across the country by the end of 2021. The vaccine is currently given to people under the age of 16 in the UAE. But the authorities are preparing to expand the distribution of the vaccine to children between the ages of 12 and 15 from the next day. The UAE approved the Pfizer vaccine after studies showed that it was safe and effective in children of this age.
