In the Moscow region, by the end of the day, the wind is expected to increase to 18 m / s by the end of the day on Tuesday, September 14. This was reported by the press service of the regional GU EMERCOM of Russia.
The department clarified that the region is expected to increase wind gusts of 13-18 m / s. Due to unfavorable weather conditions, rescuers urged residents of the Moscow region to comply with personal safety rules.
So, it is recommended to remove household items from the yard and balconies, cut off dry trees that can damage the home, put the car in a garage or park away from trees and weakly reinforced structures. Pedestrians were asked to bypass rickety buildings and houses with unstable roofs, the Moscow city news agency notes.
Residents of the region should also avoid high-risk trees and structures, including overpasses, bridges, power lines, pipelines.
Earlier on September 14, a leading employee of the Phobos weather center, Mikhail Leus, warned of intermittent rain and gusty winds in Moscow. The atmospheric pressure will be 743 mm Hg. Art., which is below the norm.
