The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced that it had monitored violations regarding the pre-prepared meals provided to pilgrims, stressing that it will sign the prescribed penalties against these companies and institutions as soon as the necessary investigation procedures are completed.
The ministry issued a statement in which it said that it had detected violations regarding the pre-prepared meals provided to pilgrims, after carrying out oversight and inspection rounds, and based on the follow-up work carried out by the departments concerned with the services provided by companies and institutions for domestic pilgrims to the pilgrims registered with them, and the extent of their quality and achievement of what those companies have committed to. and institutions.
Violation of the requirements
The statement explained that meals were provided that did not meet the requirements stipulated in their preparation and presentation, noting that some of them resorted to contracting with meal service providers of lower quality, than those contracted requirements required, in accordance with high quality standards and specifications.
Also, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah stressed that the prescribed penalties will be imposed after completing the necessary investigation procedures in this regard, against those companies and institutions regarding the violations committed.
