Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman began a visit to France on Friday, where he was received by French President Emmanuel Macron.
And the French presidency announced that the talks would start at 11:15 GMT and would focus on bilateral relations as well as on “challenges of regional stability”. The discussions will touch on “major international issues, including the war in Ukraine and its repercussions for the rest of the world.”
Among the most prominent economic files that will be discussed during the Saudi Crown Prince’s visit is participation in the official reception for Riyadh’s candidacy to host Expo 2030, which will be held next Monday.
While in France, Prince Mohammed bin Salman will participate in the summit “For a New Global Financial Pact” that Macron is organizing in Paris on June 22-23.
The French President will discuss with the Saudi Crown Prince the preparations for this summit aimed at “raising private and public funding and focusing it where the world and people need it most to fight poverty, lead the necessary climate change and protect biodiversity,” according to the French side.
