The mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, has ordered the removal of the officials who intervened in the file on ‘Teatre Murcia SL’ in 2022, as reported by the City Council in a statement.
This Monday, Ballesta ordered the opening of an information file in order to clarify “everything that happened” in the administrative procedure related to the premises in the Atalayas area where the fire occurred last Sunday.
This precautionary measure is established while the investigation that began hours after the tragedy is being carried out, in order to “precisely determine the background, data and circumstances in the administrative process.”
The person responsible for the instruction has been entrusted to collect, as a priority and urgent matter, “whatever data and reports are convenient or necessary from the different services.”
