Mumbai: The person who threatened to kill Mukesh Ambani has been arrested in Mumbai.
Reliance Foundation Hospital owned by Reliance Group Chairman Mukesh Ambani has received eight consecutive mysterious phone calls since yesterday morning. Businessman Mukesh Ambani received death threats in a mysterious call to the hospital operating in Mumbai. Each time the mysterious person used multiple names to make threats. The hospital management then lodged a complaint with the police.
Police investigation identified the person who threatened to kill Mukesh Ambani as 56-year-old Vishnu Bhowmik. According to the preliminary investigation, the caller was mentally unstable. It has been reported that security has been beefed up at Ambani’s hospital and home following the death threat incident.
Mukesh Ambani receives death threats from time to time. Last year, gelatin sticks were found all over a car in front of his house. The Maharashtra government is providing security to Ambani and his family due to security threat.
