The competitions will be held in the Dubai World Trade Center through the establishment of six stadiums, including two main competition stadiums and four training stadiums, in addition to other facilities to serve the participating teams and the fans who are expected to attend the event.
The draw ceremony witnessed the unveiling of the championship logo, which included prominent landmarks from Dubai, including the Palm Island, Burj Khalifa, and the Burj Al Arab Hotel, in addition to the unveiling of the tournament’s amulet, which is a falcon named “Al Hur”.
The organizing committee held the championship draw ceremony yesterday at the headquarters of the Dubai Sports Council, in the presence of the President of the UAE Paralympic Committee, Mohammed Fadel Al Hameli, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dubai Club for People of Determination, Thani Juma Balrakad, the Director of the World Wheelchair Basketball Championship, Majid Al Osaimi, and the President of the International Federation.
