The national team snatched the last qualification ticket from its first group to the quarter-finals of the Dubai International Basketball Championship, after its victory today over the Syrian Al-Wehda (82-49). With this victory, the team finished fourth with five points, while Al-Wehda left the tournament, remaining in fifth place with four points.
The beginning of the meeting between the team and Al-Wahda came close to the level after the first quarter ended (20-20), before the team succeeded in drawing its victory by gaining its players the advantage in the second and third quarters, and then the fourth (17-9, 24-13, 21-7).

In another match, he smiled at the meeting of the newcomers, in favor of the Lebanese “Dynamo” at the expense of the Philippine “Strong Group”, after the Lebanese team won (89-83).
“Dynamo” took the lead in the first group with the full mark and a balance of eight points, with a point difference from “Strong Group” in second place, and the Libyan victory finished the group tournament in third place with six points, while the team snatched the last qualifying cards for the quarter-finals, by finishing fourth in the group standings with a score. Five points, and bid farewell to the Syrian unit by occupying the fifth and last place in the group, with four points.

And “Dynamo” succeeded in ensuring its victory, by gaining its players the advantage with the results of the first and third quarters, and then the fourth quarter, by (19-17, 24-23, and 24-15), while the players of “Strong Group” settled for the advantage with the result of the second quarter (28-22).
