The new route will connect Kaluzhskoye and Varshavskoye highways to TiNAO in autumn 2023. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced this on his Telegram channel on Tuesday, February 21.
“The four-lane highway Varshavskoye Highway – Andreevskoye – Yakovlevo, 11.9 km long, will consist of a flyover, an overpass and a bridge across the Desna River and will become a continuation of the Kaluzhskoye Highway – Yakovlevo highway,” the report says.
He noted that the new route has a number of advantages. Now it will be more convenient for motorists to move between Troitsk and Shcherbinka, the settlements of Ryazanovsky and Desenovsky. In addition, alternative routes have been created for leaving these settlements to Varshavskoye and Kaluga highways.
Residents of Troitsk and neighboring settlements will have more access to the station of the Moscow Central Diameter-2 (MTsD-2), according to the website aif.ru.
The mayor added that after the formation of the TiNAO, more than 350 km of roads have been built there, and another 70 km will be launched by the end of the year, the Moskva city news agency reports.
Earlier, Sobyanin said that the expressways, which will appear in Moscow in 2023, will unload the rest of the roads of the capital and reduce travel time for motorists. This year we plan to complete several major road projects: the Moscow High-Speed Diameter (MSD), the Southern Rocade, as well as several interchanges on the Moscow Ring Road, according to the kp.ru website.
