The next long weekend awaits Russian citizens from June 11 to 13, according to Rostrud.
The department recalled that on June 12, Russia Day will be celebrated in the country. Since the holiday falls on a Sunday, the weekend for Russians will last from Saturday, June 11, to Monday, June 13.
The next working week after the holiday will be a four-day one – June 14-17.
Then the Russians are waiting for a long period without a long weekend. They will be only from November 4 to 6 during the celebration of National Unity Day, the department reminded.
On May 11, a three-day working week began in Russia in connection with the celebration of Victory Day. Russians also work on Thursday and Friday, May 12 and 13.
On April 30, lawyer Mikhail Pryadko told Izvestia about the procedure for transferring wages during the May holidays. According to him, all wage payments must be made before the weekend. Pryadko also noted that if an employee works on weekends, his hours should be paid double.
