Nutritionist Alexander Andreev told what time it is best to sit down at the table on New Year’s Eve.
In an interview with Life.ru on Tuesday, December 28, the specialist noted that there is nothing wrong with breaking the regime for the sake of a New Year’s feast as an exception, it will not harm health.
The expert clarified that it is best to add less mayonnaise to salads or replace it with vegetable oil, if such a dressing is appropriate. This will help avoid heaviness in the stomach and heartburn. The main dish can be a chicken baked in the oven, the meat of which will not contain carcinogens, since it was not fried, the TV channel “360” notes.
Andreev added that on ordinary days it is best to have dinner three hours before bedtime, so that the stomach has time to digest food. On New Year’s Eve, it is permissible to eat and drink alcohol at 22:00 or 23:00, writes RT.
