The occupation of the lignite village of Lützerath is over, confrontations take a heavy toll

The evacuation of the German ‘lignite village’ Lützerath, not far from Roermond, was completed on Sunday afternoon, the German police reported. Many dozens, possibly even more than a hundred, activists were injured in confrontations on Saturday between police and activists.
