San Francisco| Tesla chief Eon Musk said that the operating price of Tesla vehicles is less than that of gasoline cruisers. “The operating price of Tesla is much less than a gasoline cruiser,” Musk wrote on Twitter on Sunday.
Recently, the company increased the prices of its Model-3 and Model-Y. Musk blamed supply chain pressure for this.
For example, the Standard Range Plus version of the Model-3 has increased from $36,990 in February to $39,990 at the end of May, while the Model-Y Long Range AWD version has increased from $49,990 to $51,990 in the same period.
Tesla has updated its prices about half a dozen times since February this year.
