The Organizing Committee of the Ajman Sports Tournament celebrates the work teams

The Organizing Committee of the Ajman Government Sports Course 2023 held a ceremony honoring the heads, members and volunteers of the working committees who participated in organizing the activities of the session in its third edition, in the Ajman X Hall, in the presence of His Excellency Rashid Gibran Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Human Resources Department of the Government of Ajman, Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee, and Ahmed Al Raisi Vice-Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee, and Abdulaziz Abdullah, the course director.

The sports tournament, which was organized by the Human Resources Department in cooperation with the Quattro Sports Center, included 11 activities: football, which was crowned by the Municipality and Planning Department for the third time in a row, futsal, which was won by the General Directorate of Civil Defense, and the volleyball championship, which was won by the Municipality and Planning Department. In addition to paddle tennis, cycling, men’s running, archery tournament, folk games tournament, men’s fitness program, women’s fitness program, and the Ramadan Council for women.

His Excellency Rashid Jubran Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, praised the great success achieved by the third edition of the Ajman Government Sports Tournament, praising the distinguished role and great efforts of all members of the working committees and volunteers who worked hard and sincerely, and were highly qualified, to contribute effectively to the emergence of the tournament with the best picture.

Ahmed Al-Raisi, Vice-Chairman of the Organizing Committee, confirmed that the remarkable development of the sports tournament would not have happened without the concerted efforts of the participants in organizing the event, and everyone’s work as a hive, indicating that the increase in the number of tournament events created more momentum and competitiveness, which was evident in the turnout. The wide participation of the participants and the great interaction of the audience.

For his part, Abdul Aziz Abdullah, Director of the Tournament, said that the success achieved is credited to all government departments and institutions that participated in the events, and is also credited to the members of the working committees and volunteers who participated in the organization and demonstrated high efficiency in teamwork, praising the sponsoring companies of the tournament that made a distinguished effort and played a role significant in the success of the tournament.

The honoring included all committees and work teams, led by the Supreme Committee headed by Abdul Aziz Abdullah, Tournament Director, Salem Khalfan Salem, Football Tournament Director, Sultan Dawood Al Rumaithi, Cycling Race Director, Jamal Al Janahi, Running Race Director, Hussain Abbas, Futsal Tournament Director, and Amina Ali Supervisor. Women’s Fitness Program, and Ahmed Hassan, Director of the Logistics and Finance Committee.

Honoring also included all members of the working committees, volunteers and individuals who contributed to the success of the tournament, as well as honoring the sponsors and supporters of the sports tournament, led by Al-Ittihad, Al-Khaleej, Al-Bayan and Emirates Al-Youm newspapers, Bukary Suite, Al-Qudra Sports Services Company and the Zayed Knights Volunteer Team.

Distinguished committees and members were honored, where Mohammed Khalfan from the Football, Paddle Tennis and Folk Games Committee won the Best Organizing Committee Member Award, Adel Al Balushi from the Media Committee won the Best Media Coverage Award, Mr. Abdul Karim from the Logistics Committee won the Unknown Soldier Award, and Manea Al Suwaidi won the Best Media Award.
