Yesterday evening, the organizing committee of the Dubai World Skydiving Championship celebrated the delegations participating in the current edition of the championship, which extends until the eighth of December, in a major celebration that took place at the Skydive Club in Dubai, attended by the President of the International Council for Military Sports (CISM), Nilton Gomez, and the President of the Dubai Skydiving Championships. The Parachute Committee of “SESM” William Thomas, heads of delegations, organizers, referees, and participating jumpers.
Vice President of the Emirates Air Sports Federation and Director of the Supreme Organizing Committee, Yousef Al Hammadi, welcomed the participants in the ceremony and said, “We hope that you have enjoyed your time during this tournament and that you will return to your homelands carrying beautiful memories of it and the wonderful atmosphere of Dubai.”
He added: “We also confirm that there are other entities and institutions standing behind this success, most notably the Dubai Sports Council, the government agencies in Dubai and the sponsors, in addition to the members of the Supreme Organizing Committee of the tournament and its working committees.”
