Kanpur. A case of conspiracy to blow up Kalindi Express, a train running from Prayagraj to Bhiwani via Kanpur, using an LPG cylinder has come to light. This train collided with an LPG cylinder placed on the track late on Sunday evening. A loud sound was also heard during this. Fortunately, no one was harmed by the passengers present in the train.
Kalindi Express going to Bhiwani on Anwarganj-Kasganj railway route in Kanpur collided with a cylinder (LPG cylinder) placed on the track late in the evening. The speed of the train was high, due to which the train collided with the cylinder while trying to stop it. This also produced a loud sound. This train was going from Prayagraj to Bhiwani via Kanpur Central.
Near Shivrajpur, the driver of (Kalindi Express) gave a memo that the train has collided with some iron object. The train was stopped by applying emergency brakes but nothing was found on the spot. On the information of the train driver, the RPF inspector arrived to investigate. After investigation, OP Meena’s team recovered the cylinder (LPG cylinder) about 200 meters away. The cylinder with which the train collided was found to be full. Other suspicious objects have also been recovered during the investigation.
RPF said that the possibility of a conspiracy cannot be ruled out. For now, RPF has registered an FIR and started the investigation. RPF and UP Police engaged in the investigation at the scene have found many suspicious items. According to the information received from RPF, an LPG cylinder, matchsticks, a bottle filled with petrol like a petrol bomb, a bag and other sensitive items have been recovered from the scene. Today, RPF and UP Police will again investigate the scene with the dog squad.
