There is a need to focus better on the development of the border area. The government worked to focus on them and meet basic level needs. Road connectivity is important for developing countries. The 19,000-foot-high Umling-La Pass in southern Ladakh is the tallest road in the world. The pride that built that road will join the Boundary Roads system. It encourages not only military use but also tourism in the area.
